In 2023, we developed a unique virtual character for hip-hop artist Capper, starting as an adorable octopus-pig hybrid and evolving into a bio-mechanic creature. The original octopus-pig form, while cute, can transition into an energy or spiritual state. This state allows it to absorb energy or psychic material from the real world, undergoing a transformation into a new, more complex form. This transformation process, characterized by its fluid and unstable nature, culminates in a form with numerous possibilities. Throughout the concept stage, AI played a crucial role, as we integrated AI-generated artwork with our creative ideas to craft the character’s transformed state, ultimately designed for enhancing live performance visuals.
